I personally think it is time for a change of narrative. It is not only time to tell our success stories but to share them. That is the purpose of this platform. Drake once said “They scream out my failures and whisper my accomplishments.” As a Zimbabwean youth I felt that. It’s time to stop down playing our achievements and successes. There is so much time and energy that has been spent on negative and regressive content? Why when there are so many inspiring stories out there!
Did you know? Seven Zimbabweans made it to Forbes Africa 30 under 30 list 2019. The Forbes 30 under 30 list is the most anticipated publication of game changers on the planet. The ONLY countries ahead of us were Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. Absolutely remarkable when you consider the difference in population and GDP. If there is one thing that is clear it is that we are bigger than any circumstance and life situation we may face.
The goal is to increase that number and through our platform our hope is to profile and host young Zimbabweans who will one day find themselves on Forbes 30 under 30. #LetsInspire
